Caring for your Drifter Jacket:

While waterfowl hunting, your gear is constantly taking a beating from Mother Nature and the harsh conditions in which we travel. Throughout the season, your gear will become extremely dirty and wet which will jeopardize the clothing’s performance. You must care for your gear properly so that it will take care of you.

For all of our outer layers with a DWR coating, we recommend washing them with a specialized detergent that is designed to care for and treat these technical fabrics. Nikwax and Granger both have very effective products to keep your gear clean and performing at their best. We suggest washing them with one of these specialized products and retreating them with their DWR treatments. Spray on DWR Treatment bottles are also a great way to keep them water resistant between washes when you are out on a trip and properly washing them isn’t an option.
